Bliss Nails and Beauty Ltd is a data protection compliant salon and we handle your data with the greatest care in mind.
What information do we collect?
When you become a client to Bliss we request that you fill out one of our record cards. This information includes your name, date of birth, phone number, email address (optional) and any medical details we feel are relevant to the treatments we provide.
How we use your details
We will only use your contact details in order to contact you regarding appointments (or offers if you have provided us your email address). The medical details you provide are only for therapists who provide treatments to you in order to avoid contraindications and provide the best service. We never give or sell our customers details to third parties.
Where we store your details
We use an encrypted, password protected salon software database to store any client details on, this is also kept on a virus and password protected computer. The information gets put onto the database from the physical record cards and then the record cards are destroyed.
Right to be forgotten
All emails sent by Bliss has an unsubscribe link at the bottom if you would like to remove your email from our mailing list.
Under certain circumstances, by law you have the right to:
Request access to your personal information (commonly known as a “data subject access request”). This enables you to receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by filling out a ‘Subject Access request form’ which is available on request.
Request erasure of your personal information. This enables you to ask us to delete or remove personal information either verbally or in writing. The company will request for identification in these cases in order to ensure the request is carried out lawfully.
If data was erased and a client returned, they would be required to fill out another record/ medical card in order to have another treatment with us. This is due to health, safety and company policy.
